Account Manager / Permanent / Kingston Upon Thames

Calling all ambitious
Account Managers

We’re looking for an ambitious and independent Account Manager to join our growing team at our Kingston studio. With excellent organisational skills and a penchant for (over)communication, you’ll be happy looking after our projects, helping them to move smoothly through the studio; from briefing to final execution. We need someone who’s confident in building relationships with clients and keeping our internal team in line!

What you’ll do

Account & Project Management:

  • Take control of creative projects from initial scoping, through to concept and creative development, to production and delivery.

  • Draft project proposals and processes, including timelines.

  • Work closely with the creative partner on each project, supporting on process and sharing information.

  • Day to day client liaison on certain projects and clients, making sure they feel engaged and informed.

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all team members and collaborators as well as recording meeting notes; ensuring all info and actions are captured. 

  • Organise and travel to client meetings and workshops, if necessary.

    Workflow Planning:

  • Partner with the creative partner to plan in the resource according to the timelines, availability and budget breakdown.

  • Own the resourcing document; ensuring it is accurate (updating it daily) and communicating updates to the team, whilst also raising any concerns regarding under or over allocation. 

  • Own and lead the weekly planning meetings.

  • Communicate workflow timings and no.of days to all creatives (in alignment with budgets).

  • Manage 3rd parties when needed, across freelancers, printers, suppliers

What we’re after

  • 3-5 years of experience in the design or creative industry. Bonus if you’ve worked in branding and packaging

  • A lover of process and structure

  • Great attention to detail

  • Someone who takes the initiative and bring new ideas and processes into the studio

  • Excellent communicator

  • Very collaborative in approach but also happy to work independently and take ownership of work

  • Excited about brands and the power they have in the world

  • A bit of a juggler, who can prioritise their own time and relishes a deadline

  • Someone confident enough to crack the whip when needed!

    What we offer

  • Majority onsite working at our lovely studio close to Kingston train station, with flex one day a week

  • 25 Days holiday and we close the office over Christmas and New Year, which is in addition to your paid holiday allowance

  • We work a 9 day fortnight, so you get every other Friday off

  • Salary of £35,000-£45,000 (depends on experience)
